Squirrel Point Light is on the Kennebec River in Arrowsic, Maine. This view was from the water – on a lighthouse tour out of Maine Maritime Museum in Bath. It was a very enjoyable outing which I would highly recommend. Funny, but I guess it’s the sort of thing locals overlook, as it took some good out-of-state friends of ours to find out about this and convince us to go with them.

  1. Thanks, Page. I’m still relatively new to watercolors, and at the time this one was a push. I learned a lot working on this, and ended up doing a second painting of the same light house from a different angle – I’ll post that one soon. I appreciate your comment!
